The program for the Conference on Mariano Azuela and the Mexican Revolution includes eight keynote and featured speakers, representing Belgium, France, Germany, Holland, Mexico, the United Kingdom, and the United States. The 2015 Conference on Mariano Azuela and the Novel of the Mexican Revolution is the result of a close collaboration of Mexican and U.S. faculty, made possible by Cal State L.A.’s Office of the President, the Gigi Gaucher-Morales Memorial Conference Series, the College of Arts and Letters, the College of Natural and Social Sciences, the Department of Chicano Studies, the Department of English, the Emeriti Association at Cal State L.A., and the joint sponsorship of Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, the Latin American Institute (UCLA), and the Center for Mexican Studies (UCLA)
